Bike Rental

GC Bike Rental is solely operated from the Castlerosse Park Resort. We stock a range of bikes suitable for all ages as well as child seats, tag along's and 2 seater buggy's. All bikes are supplied with a helmet and lock. As the hotel is situated beside Killarney National Park, this means you can discover the adjoining National Park without ever cycling on the main road. This is essential for families with young children and provides a safe environment for all to enjoy. There are many areas to explore such as the Demesne, Ross Castle, the Copper Mines, Ross Island and many more.

For the more accomplished cyclists, we offer our 'Boat & Bike' tour from March to October. The tour starts at the hotel where you collect your bike and cycle through the National Park to Ross Castle. From here, the O' Donoghue's boat tours depart Ross Castle each morning at 10.00am. You will then venture through the scenic three lakes of Killarney onto Lord Brandon's Cottage at the top of the upper lake. Once again, you will hop on your bike and cycle 10km through the majestic Black Valley and the Gap of Dunloe onto Kate Kearney's Cottage where you can sit down and relax before returning to the Castlerosse hotel which is a further 9km.
